Child careWe provide discounted rates for MIT's Children's Education Centre – a multicultural community based onsite at MIT’s Ōtara Campus. Academics and managers leaveOur kaiako (academic staff) have annual and discretionary leave. These two leave types give our kaiako 9 weeks of leave per year to allow them time to rest and relax. MIT daysWe provide additional days off to some staff (kaimahi). Three MIT Days between Christmas and New Year to all permanent non-teaching kaimahi and another MIT Day on Tuesday following Easter Monday to all permanent kaimahi. | |
The safety and wellbeing of our people are important to us.
