Biography

Wenting graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec) and has over a decade of experience as a registered nurse in New Zealand, including roles in hospitals, GP clinics, and aged care settings. Her professional interests are focused on long-term conditions management and palliative care. Wenting also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Health and Science from the University of Auckland.

Before joining MIT in 2022, Wenting served as a Clinical Tutor at Wintec, where she was involved in their nursing program. At MIT, she is now a Senior Lecturer specializing in mental health, drug and alcohol addiction.
