This course will give you the English language skills you need to get a job in New Zealand. Our friendly tutors will also show you how to find and apply for jobs. This course is for people who only have a little bit of English.

You must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.

For people with minimal or no formal education.

Course structure

The purpose of the course is to develop English language skills to enable you to interact positively within your everyday life and work environment.

You will complete a minimum of 20 hours of face-to-face teaching and develop skills in:

  • Reading and writing related to employment
  • Speaking and listening related to employment
  • Basic digital literacy.
