Biography:
Helen began her career at age 17, attending the Wellington Kindergarten Teachers College. She has since taught in kindergartens, early childhood services and schools in New Zealand and Australia. She began working in the tertiary sector in 2006 and first joined the Manukau Institute of Technology, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education teaching team in 2011.

- Higher Diploma (Auckland College of Education)
- Level Two Orff Music (University of Waikato)
- Bachelor of Education (First Class Honours) and
