Biography

Lanita joined MIT in 2018 with the inclusive education team and hasn't looked back since.

Her background and experience include working in the health sector and the education sector in early childhood care, and primary and intermediate schools in Australia and South Auckland.

This experience was the driving force for her to achieve her Bachelor in Health Science Majoring in Psychology.
She believes that knowledge is the key to change, and the best way to affect change is by organising and presenting information in a way that it can make a difference to students lives.

Working at MIT gives me the opportunity to have a positive impact and I feel very fortunate that I am encouraged to exhibit my creative and innovative ideas.
