Preparation for health
Keen to start a career in healthcare but left school without NCEA?
Don’t let entry requirements hold you back. MIT offers a variety of open entry foundation and bridging programmes that can prepare you for tertiary studies and get you on the pathway towards a career in nursing, health, counselling or social work.
As you progress with your study, you will develop skills, confidence and independence – and we will support you every step of the way.
You’ll be supported to succeed throughout your journey. At the Manukau campus, you will have access to a Kaiawhina, a Pasifika support person, a Whānau and a Mā Tātou room.
